Meet our Mentors

Cathy Hull

Hi!! My name is Cathy Hull, and I am excited to be a mentor at Redeeming Grace. What a blessing to come alongside kids to learn and grow from the teaching of God’s Word. As a child myself, I loved horses and often prayed and asked God to give me one. In my mid 30s, the phone call came. “Would you like to have a horse?” I was asked. The dark brown answer to my prayer came with a name – TINY. Later as my little daughter, Stacy, grew, she also shared my love for horses. We got her a wonderful pony from a friend when she was 6 years old. And so the journey began, and what a ride it’s been! Looking forward to being with you for the spring sessions. One of my favorite verses is Ps. 119:105 “Thy Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Jan Leonard

Hi! My name is Jan Leonard. I felt very honored when Stacy asked me to be a part of this ministry – Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch. I know how God’s Word can make an impact and change a child’s life now and eternally. I first got involved with horses when I worked at a Christian camp in Washington State as a camp nurse which also included helping with trail rides. Many years later, my family and I bought a house in this area which included a horse! It then started the progression of more horses and more kids. I love how God uses our interest, His creation, and His Word to impact others for His glory!

Ruby

Hi! I’m Ruby, a passionate Christian with a love for horses and helping young girls grow in their faith. I believe in the power of faith to shape our lives, and I strive to guide girls in their walk with the Lord. Through mentorship, I aim to create a space where they can build confidence, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and learn valuable lessons about life, faith, and horsemanship.

Kelly Prindle

Hi! My name is Kelly Prindle. I love talking with children about what truly matters…that God loves them and that He sent His Son, Jesus, to be their Savior! As an elementary school teacher, I see a lot of children that have no spiritual compass, no spiritual direction. It breaks my heart to think about these children navigating life without knowing the Heavenly Father who longs to be with us forever. Mentoring through Redeeming Grace gives boys and girls the opportunity to know the love of God that will make them whole forever!

Stacy Hull

Hello! I’m Stacy! I love kids and horses. It’s been my prayer to be able to use the horses God’s entrusted to me as an avenue to impact and invest in the lives of kids in my community. My hope is that children in the program know how loved and valued they are by God, grow in their walk with Him and knowledge of His Word, and have fun learning about horses and how to ride.

Donna Evans

My name is Donna Evans. I am a retired high school teacher of 34 years. It is such an honor to serve as a mentor at Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch – a ministry that blends my love of God, children, and horses. God allows us to use horses as a tool to share His love and truth with young girls.

Horses are amazing teachers of trust, patience, love, responsibility, and communication. Through Gods word and these amazing horses, these young girls ( as well as each mentor) can experience God’s grace, redemption, and purpose.  I have the privilege of walking alongside these beautiful girls as they grow in confidence, faith, love, and character. It is a blessing and joy to be a part of this ministry.

Karena Blackwell

My name is Karena Blackwell, and it is an honor to mentor for Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch. After 33 years in public education, my prayer was to have the opportunity to share my faith openly.  Mentoring at Redeeming Grace has answered that prayer! I love teaching about God’s word through our Bible based curriculum and scripture memorization. I never imagined God’s plan for me after retirement would include working with horses, that part has definitely been a huge learning curve but a lot of fun! I have been amazed to watch the girls learn horsemanship skills and gain confidence. Through mentorship, I aim to fulfill our mission, to glorify God by providing an environment where youth are loved, encouraged, and discipled.
