What We Do

The vision of Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch is to provide a place of refuge for youth and animals, allowing children and their families to hear about the hope found only in Christ.

What is Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch is and what it is not:

Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch is a Christian non-profit ministry for youth. We seek to pair one child, with one mentor, with one horse each week. God is the one who redeems, restores, and gives hope to each of us, and the ranch will seek to honor and glorify God by pointing others to His redeeming grace and love in all that we do. Horses are God’s creation and can be an instrument used by God to help kids experience the love of their Heavenly Father in a special way. Participants have the opportunity to learn basic horsemanship and riding skills, but this program is not built in such a way as to be a lesson program for kids that want to show and train competitively. This is a Christian mentoring and discipleship program for youth. This is a mentoring program for kids- meaning this is a set apart time in which a mentor is investing in the life of a child each week and helping them learn about the Lord or grow in their walk with the Lord. This is also an opportunity for youth who love horses but are unable to have their own to have experiences with them.

Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch is not a licensed therapeutic riding center for children with special needs or a licensed counseling center. Our focus is on building relationships with children and their families so that they might know the love of Christ.

What We Do

At Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch, our mission is to provide an environment where youth and their families are loved, encouraged, and discipled, equipping them to know how to have a relationship with Christ and how to serve and support others in their community and beyond. Our activities are centered around God’s Word, discipleship, and horsemanship. Our focus each week goes beyond riding skills. We use these unique experiences as opportunities to teach valuable life and faith lessons. Our desire is to affirm children, build relationships, foster leadership skills, and build community among the children and mentors. By participating in our programs, children learn the importance of responsibility, empathy, and stewardship, all within a Christ-centered framework.

Values

Christ Centered, Kingdom Focused, Servant Minded, Disciple Making

Christ Centered: Col 3:17

Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.  Col. 3:17

Whatever you do, do your work heartily as for the Lord rather than for men. Col 3:23

Christ is at the center of all that we do. This ranch exists to bring Him honor and glory that others might know the power of His redeeming love and grace.

Kingdom Focused: Matt 6:33

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

We will be kingdom focused by looking to God’s Word as our guide for the ways we treat others and for the motivation behind what we strive to accomplish.

Servant Minded: 1 Peter 4:10, Matt. 23:11

But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Matt 23:11

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

Our heavenly Father calls us to see the needs of our community and serve them. He gave us the ultimate example of how we should strive to be humble and put the needs of others before ourselves. He loved us just as we were, and He called us to serve and put others before ourselves.

Disciple Making: Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

The Lord calls us to share the good news and hope within us. Jesus had a core group of disciples He invested much time into that they might learn from Him and impact the world. The ranch exists to disciple youth so that they might know their Heavenly Father, grow in their walk with Him, and then go out and be disciple makers in their world and community.

Our Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, living Word of God

revealing the love of God to the world…

1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 3:16; Hebrews 4:12

  1. We believe that there is one God, the Holy Trinity, eternally existent in three persons:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…

Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6.

  1. We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth…

Psalm 146:6

  1. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, in His virgin birth, in

His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His blood shed on

the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in

His personal return in power and glory, to judge the living and the dead.

Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-4, 1:29 and 3:16; Acts 1:11 and 2:22-24; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians

15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11; 2 Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 1:1-4 and 4:15.

  1. We believe in the Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord

Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. We are a new

creation in Christ and Jesus is the only way to the Father and salvation.

Luke 24:46-47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 and 16-17;

Ephesians 1:7 and 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7.

  1. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling by faith enables the follower

of Christ to live a godly life, pointing us to the Father and Son, and teaching us and convicting

us in all truth…

John 3:5-8, 14:26 and 16:7-15; Acts 1:8 and 4:31; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Galatians

5:16-18; Ephesians 6:12; Colossians 2:6-10.

  1. We believe in the Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ…

1 Corinthians 12:12, 27; Ephesians 1:22-23 and 4:3-6

  1. We believe as followers of Jesus Christ we are called to love God, and to love His people by sharing the message of salvation (by grace through faith in Jesus Christ) and by discipling followers (helping them grow up into maturity in Christ).

Matthew 22:37-40 and 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-15; 1 Peter 3:15.

  1. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the

resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal

punishment.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57; Revelation 20:11-15.

  1. God created marriage. It is a covenant made between a man and a woman that makes them one.  We believe God created male and female; therefore,  gender is created by God.

Gen 2: 22, 24; Matt 19: 5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Rom. 1:26-27; 1. Cor. 6:9.

Vision

The vision of Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch is to provide a place of refuge for youth and animals, allowing children and their families to hear about the hope found only in Christ.

My dream is to see thousands of children impacted by the love of Christ, the love of a horse, and the love of a mentor investing in them. My hope and desire is that others experience the peace of Christ in a unique way the moment they walk onto the property, and that through the love of a horse, mentor, and God’s Word, they might be fully assured of how much their Heavenly Father loves them.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace. – Ephesians 2:7
